Three guided days, around 5,000 meters of elevation – and two performance groups, so you ride exactly where you belong. In the evening, 1,000 m² of spa instead of a sports hostel. A camp for ambitious hobby racers, led by a top athlete from the world elite of ultra-cycling.
The Adler is located in the valley floor of the Montafon, directly opposite the train station – and thus at the center of Vorarlberg’s most demanding climbs. You ride for three days in the group that fits your level: on the day of arrival, a classification ride sorts the field; from the second day, you ride where you belong – without having to burn yourself out and without having to wait for anyone.
Between the stages: sports-oriented Adler cuisine, regeneration in the Montawell Spa on 1,000 m², wash station and workshop for your bike, and an evening lecture by Tom Mauerhofer on mental strength – the part that lasts longer than the sore muscles.

full stages · up to 140 km · up to 2,400 m elevation
You ride the full queen stage: Arlberg and Flexen in one day
Brisk base pace; everyone rides their own pace on the climbs, regrouping at the top
An extension option every day for those who still have energy left
For you, if 120 km with 2,000 m elevation is a good Sunday for you
custom tours · determined after the classification ride
Custom routes: Tom selects them after the classification ride to suit the group – not shortened sections of Group 1 stages, but independent, scenically equally beautiful tours
Length, elevation, and destination depend on the group’s level and the conditions
Calmer base pace, nobody rides away from you
Coffee breaks are part of the concept, not a sign of weakness
For you, if you ride regularly but not 300 km every week
We run two groups starting from 11 participants – then a second guide is included. With a smaller field, we ride as one group with an adjusted pace and regrouping points; even then, no one is left alone on the mountain

From 11 participants, a second guide is included and we ride in two performance groups – so no one lags behind or is held back.
On Thursday afternoon, everyone rides the classification ride to Gargellen together – 55 kilometers with a two-kilometer section with over 10% gradient. Afterwards, Tom suggests the division, and you help decide. On Friday and Saturday morning, you can switch at any time: anyone who overestimated themselves the day before can ride in the other group the next day. No one is assigned and then left alone.
Group 1 is for you if 120 kilometers with 2,000 meters of elevation is a good training day for you – they ride the planned stages. Group 2 is for you if you ride regularly and like passes, but don’t churn out 300 kilometers every week. For this group, Tom selects separate tours after the classification ride that fit the group’s level – not shortened sections of the big stages, but independent routes with their own destination.
The stages are carefully planned but not set in stone. Weather, road conditions, construction sites, or short-term closures may make changes necessary – in which case Tom decides on-site in the morning and chooses an equivalent alternative. The character of the day remains the same. For Group 2, the tours are determined after the classification ride anyway.
No. The ascent from Partenen to Bielerhöhe is completely closed until probably summer 2030 due to the risk of rockfalls and mudslides – even for cyclists. Instead, we ride the Arlberg Pass, Flexen Pass, and Faschinajoch: together significantly more elevation gain and three real passes instead of one toll road. You can reach Bielerhöhe if you wish via the Vermuntbahn and tunnel bus – as an excursion, not as a stage.
No. You pay the package price plus a €180 single occupancy supplement for the three nights and have a double room to yourself – including space for your bike, bags, and gear. On request, we can also arrange a room partner from the group for you.
In the lockable bike garage with its own workshop, repair stand, and compressor. After the stage, you can wash your bike at the wash station directly at the hotel – the next morning it will be clean and ready for action.
Yes, and that is the most elegant option: the St. Anton im Montafon train station is located directly opposite the hotel. Bike out of the train, across the street, check in.
We ride adapted alternative loops in the valley area – Tom decides in the morning. If a stage is completely cancelled, the entire spa area is at your disposal; a refund for individual program points is not possible.
