Skifahren im Montafon
Von unterschiedlichem Reiz sind die verschiedenen Skigebiete des Montafons. Der Anfänger und das Skihaserl ebenso wie der sportliche Freak findet, was er braucht und sucht, sei es am Golm mit seinen weiten Hängen, die früher für Damen-Weltcup-Rennen als ideales Gelände dienten, über die Sonnenterrasse des Hochjoch mit seinem ausgedehnten Skigebiet mit einem 470 m langen Skitunnel oder das weitläufige Gebiet der Silvretta-Nova, wohl eines der schönsten und am besten erschlossenen Skigebiete der Alpen oder in Gargellen, wo Ski fahren Spaß macht und wo über 30 Skitouren, zum Teil grenzüberschreitend in die benachbarte Schweiz, ausgehen.
Nicht zu vergessen das Gebiet auf der Bielerhöhe, Ausgangspunkt für hochalpine Ski- und Gletschertouren oberhalb der Baumgrenze. Dort laden die Höhenlanglaufloipen, in 2000 Meter Seehöhe über den zugefrorenen Silvrettasee führend, zum nordischen Skivergnügen ein. Das Skigebiet Kristberg bei Silbertal mit einer 11 km langen “Panorama Höhenloipe” ist bei Familien ebenso beliebt wie das Skigebiet Grabs bei Tschagguns.

Cross-country run in Montafon
Montafon offers over 100 km cross-country run parks over all difficulty levels – in the valley, or at the panorama park Kristberg, or at the Höhenloipe 2000 in Silvretta Bielerhöhe.
Adventure Touring
A professional guided ski touring executed by a state certified mountain and ski guide is a special experience. He knows the characteristics of the regional snow, weather and avalanche and help you to enjoy an unforgettable touring day. More information in all Ski schools in Montafon and at the tourism office.

Winter fun for young and elder! – snowshoeing – the winter experience for everybody – can you go on your feet? than you can also snowshoeing!
Fascination Winter …
Shinny powder snow, deep snowed winter panoramas, impresive clear views over the cloud´s sea…, who goes through paths outside the prepared ski courses will discover a wonderful world of light, snow and ice. For many people snowshoeing it´s the only way to go in the winter, untouched panorama.
Snowshoeing is a beloved alternative and addition to the alpine cross-country run. In Montafon you can find lots of jumping-off points for wonderful snowshoeing at best prepared paths.

Silvretta Montafon Nova
You can experience a special kind of tobogganing fun on Garfrescha. Because at 5.5 km there is the longest illuminated night toboggan run in Vorarlberg. Combined with a hearty stop at the hut, an atmospheric and adventurous experience awaits you, ideal for abdominal and laughing muscles.
Tue, Thu and Sat from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. (depending on snow conditions).
Golm
3 km long, demanding, illuminated toboggan run from Latschau to Vandans. Every Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with floodlights – provided the snow is right. Ski tickets are not valid!
